Food and Drinks galore at Makati Street Meet 2018

The weekends of December 2018 just got more exciting as the Makati Street Meet gives Makatizens a weekend full of good food, one-of-a-kind shopping, and awesome entertainment.

Now on its third year, the Makati Street Meet happens every first Sunday of the month at Paseo de Roxas. But for November and December this year, in particular last December 2 and December 9 where it has become a much-anticipated event among residents and guests alike. Because of its successes, it will now be held every two Sundays of the month.

Great, good food and music

Last December 2, A Social Sunday was held from 3-10 pm where a food fair took place in partnership with the Mercato Centrale and Imaginarium Creatives. Pase street were filled with some of the yummiest finds in the country, accompanied by music from up and coming DJs. Among the performers are Earl of Manila, Six the Northstar, and VY!DD.

The exciting line-up of food vendors served up mouthwatering and  Instagram-worthy concoctions like the ones from Buko House, Bagnet Patong, Mr. Tentacles, Olivia & Co., St. George Cafe and more!

To make the affair fun for all members of the family arts and crafts activities were included by Ayala Land’s Papelikhaan from members of Barangay Luz. What makes the fair more exciting is the availability of fresh items such as saba and guyabano, from the Aeta community of Sapang Uwak, Porac.

Indeed, it was a food-filled weekend as all roads leads to Makati as Street Meet 2018 kicks off the Christmas fun.
