On Friday, May 22, the country’s top indie bands perform at SM Marikina for the IndieFest Summer Music Festival. Not even the rain dampens the crowd’s enthusiasm as they troop to watch SM Marikina’s summer event which features Bad Kiss, Jensen and The Flips, Never The Strangers, She’s Only Sixteen, Techy Romantics, Taken by Cars, Franco, and MotherBasss.

The concert began with Bad Kiss performing first in the line up followed by Jensen and The Flips who a week ago also performed at BeatStoked. Jensen's appearance energized the crowd and sing along with some of their songs.

The crowd cheered when Never the Strangers come up on stage. I was giddy since I really love how Never the Strangers always excite the crowd with their music and they never disappoint that night.

She's only Sixteen performs some of their well known alternative songs. The crowd love their energetic songs and jumped in time with their music.

Only Techy Romantics could bring out the chill-vibe music they are so known for and roused the crowd through out their set.

Another most awaited band is Taken by Cars, TbC and their vocals Ms. Sarah electrified the crowd and urged them to sing along with them.

The wind is getting colder after TbC and the rain threaten to fall so by the time Franco appeared to a wild crowd the rain fell. But Franco and the crowd love it more as they swayed and listened on as the rain fell.

We did not mind the rain as Franco plays excellent music.

MotherBasss finished off the Indiefest with a bang and fireworks and confetti filled the air.

It was a night to remember and seeing all those indie band performed is a night well spend. Congrats SM Marikina.
